Robotic Bee

This was done as a prop for a prototype of a working robotic bee that would be working in the agricultural sector,which was part of the storyline from our group project. I wanted it to have a steam/cyberpunk style to it as the woman who was to of made this would’ve been primarily working from scrap material.
The head and legs were molded with silicon and casted with resin. The main body was done using the lathe. The eye covers and dome were vac formed. The cogs drawn up on 3ds Max then 3D printed. The wings were drawn up on AutoCAD then Lazorcut.
